Intel Pentium D 830?

Games are only single threaded. They dont take advantage of dual cores. So when gaming, your processing speed will be that of one of the cores. But, it wont be long before developers start making dual-threaded games.

I agree with DonVito, if your not going to use the dual cores, then its a waste of money. i would get a single core processor for games. Unless you want to play a game, while your burning a cd at the same time, i would recommend a single core CPU
