DVD drives won't autorun
I'm using windows xp sp2 home and have 2 new dvd drives a Sony DVD_Rom and NEC DVD_RW and it seems that I have to insert the CD or DVD about 3 times before windows does anything. Is there any way to fix that?
Thanks. |

Go to My Computer and double-click the drive that the CD is in. Then find an autorun file. From there, you can edit the autorun file and get it to run files from the CD. If the drive detects the CD but Windows won't react, chances are it's because the autorun file on the CD isn't pointing anywhere. I think that's how it's done anyway. I haven't done it before but I know it works.
