When do you think we will start seeing more SATA optical drives?

Right now there is only one SATA drive to my knowledge and it is a rather expensive Plextor, when do you think we will start to see the move from IDE to SATA on optical drives? Now right I have an IDE CD burner and I would really like to add a DVD burner but I would prefer if it were SATA, but I am not willing to spend the $120 for that plextor.

at the price of DVD burners right now i'd just get the burner. SATA optical is comming out but will be at least a few months more (probally early to mid next year) and then price will initialy be about he $100 mark.

With SATA 1 i dont think the there will be a speed diff. so all you'll be getting is better air flow (unless you already have round IDE cables)
