USB device
Hi
I am having problems with my USB device When I connect my digital camera or my ipod to the computer, it recognizes a new hardware and trys to install drivers for it. Not the one you would see when you put in a cd that asks you what you'd like to do but add new hardware pop up. When I go in to my computer, it doesnt recognize them. It recognizes my flash drive and my printer fine but not the camera and my ipod. When I go in to device manager, device status says "This device cannot start. (Code 10)" |

Drivers for many USB devices must be installed BEFORE connecting the device - if this is required for a particular device, the instructions will so indicate.

I have xp x64. Drivers that came with it won't install.
It worked fine before yesterday. i don't know what's going on. I haven't done anything to the computer. I haven't downloaded anything or installed anything. Last edited by accordingi2ime; 10-05-2005 at 10:17 AM. |

Go to the website of the camera makers and download the patches for your system from there
