I'm thinking about using a water cooling system in my computer because all after all the fans i have for my computer, including the big ass thermaltake CPU fan, my computer still runs hot, but at least not super hot like it use to. well, what is a good water system to use? brand, external or internal?

With a Prescott, you should expect to run quite hot. What is your budget?

Good depends on what type of water cooling system you want and your budget. Figure on about $200 for a very basic kit just to cool the CPU. You can also watercool your chipset, graphics card(s) and your hard drive(s) additionally.

Do you want a kit or do you want to design a system from scratch? If your looking to design one from scratch, Koolance, Dangerden and a few others sell all kinds of parts. If you want a kit then you will want to do an internet search for reviews of water cooling kits. There are dozens of kits out there now. It seems almost everyone is getting into the water cooling business. There is a lot of junk and a lot of really good stuff out there, so be careful in your selection. I tend to trust Dangerden and Koolance.

You'll get much better results if you research it and build it yourself. Also building it yourself is much cheaper. They have alot of guides and reviews at the overclockers forum, I recommend them. Especially if you custom built your pc, why start using proprietary parts now. Sure if you got a dell use a kit lol. Not to mention its a very fun project to work on and be proud of when your finished. I have pics of mine in my sig and your welcome to pm me any questions. Its really alot easier to put together than it looks.
