HP CD Writer Plus 7100i HELP PLEASE !!
ok I know this cd writer is old but.....it's all I have. I got this from a friend( well i think he was) after installing from disk....and updating as much as i could (I think) I get the Adaptec Direct Cd wizard 2.5d after clinking next is Drive information it says under media type -device is not ready-E:\ is not accessible. and I dont know why this is?? I'm new to all this ...I couls use all the help you can give me

Does EZ CD Creator work? If not, the drive has probably died. It's also possible that 700mb CD's are not compatible with that old of a drive or software and you would have to find 650mb blanks or newer software.
