I plan to upgrade my PC from AMD Athlon XP 3000+ to Pentium 4 HT 3.4 GHz Socket 775. I want to keep my ATI 9600 XT 128 MB which AGP bus 4X/8X. My motherboard right now is Albatron KX400-8X and I want to buy motherboard which compatible with Pentium 4 HT 3.4 GHz. Do you guys have a recommendation?

The manual states no restriction on the cpu, only that it is a LGA 775 socket. The 3.8 should work as well.

You aren't going to notice that much of a difference between a 3000+ and a P4 of any speed to make it worth buying a motherboard with old AGP technology. If you really want to switch to Intel, do it right and go PCI-E on a newer chipset than the 865PE.
