Unhappy CDR Software

I was recently given a handful of blank business card size CDR. Now I am wondering if I need special CDR software to burn them and also am I wondering about labels for them as well.

I do know that they can only be used in CD-Rom drives with a tray and not front loading. Thanks for the help.

AFAIK, Adaptec and Nero will both handle them. Not sure about the labelmakers though.

Send a message via AIM to Xayd
Much, much better in my opinion.

More stable, and a ton more features.

Everybody talks about Adaptec, because it comes bundled with so many burners.
Nero isn't free , but Xayd is right, it's got a TON more features.

Nero is a much better burn program, especially since Roxio bought Adaptec, but it's interface is a little bit confusing to newbes (I have found that to be).
If you don't have any problems dragging and dropping files in Windows Explorer you won't have any problems with Nero.
I find that Nero, especially with 12x and above drives, makes the disks faster due to the closing time. Nero also lets you overburn a disk.

karen: Make the burner the master and the CD the slave if you are going to keep them on the same controller. You will most likely have to go through the hard drive to do direct CD to CDR copies if the drives are on the same channel - and Adaptec CD Copier has a setting to do this.

Any cd burning software should be able to handle business card CDs, they'll burn till they can't make a complete circle around the business card CD.

And yeah, Nero is good, it was quite confusing for me at the start to get it to work, with all the different settings and stuff, but once I got it sorted like Mode 1, ASCII chracter set and Joilet labels, etc, I don't use WinOnCD anymore.
