PC to Mac...?

Hey guys,
A friend of mine has this little Mac, and he wants to bring it to his office cause it looks cool. He has a PC in there right now and his office has all PC's and PC server, running on WinXP I believe, he wants to know if it possible for him to hook his mac up to the server and still be able to share files and things like that, also his company has a corporate account with Quickbooks, so he wants to know if there is someway to still use the same account. Buying new software is not a problem. He just wants to be able to use his Mac in the office, because it looks cool. I know...it racks my brain too...

Quickbooks for Mac is needed: http://www.apple.com/macosx/applications/quickbooks/
How can I share data with Windows users? Addressed: http://quickbooks.intuit.com/commerc...id=left_nav#Q7

Ultimately, the user must not be tied down to a standard established by other users; he should be able to use whatever he likes to use. Luckily, his needs arent that great esp. since there are Mac versions of the same s/w

if they are on a domain, which it doesn't seem like they are as the server is XP, he'll need the IT guy to set up an account for him, unfortunately a lot of IT departments have adversity to allowing macs on their networks so he may have a little battle on his hands.
