Holy hell
Got my new case this week, the thermaltake tai chi with water cooling
Its MONSTROUS it wont even fit under my computer desk and could be used for weight lifting (20kg) I figured its nearly half the weight of my missus !!! Excellent case tho, really nice design, excellent cooling system (for CPU) and easy installation!! |

Hopefully it works out with the PSU that you have. I had problems with mine...not being certified by Nvidia. Have a look at your 6pin/12 volt connectors to your graphics cards. Are the connectors paralleled from the same leg? If so, Thermaltake still has not corrected the problem. The graphics cards connectors should be on their own legs (circuit). You cannot run 200 watts at 12 volts (16.6 amps) through 3 wires at that small of a gauge without an unacceptable voltage drop. I don't see which graphics cards you have but realize that some can draw over 100 watts each. The 6800 Ultra's do at times. Hopefully you won't have any problems but if you do the first thing I would suspect is the PSU. You may want to measure the voltages with a volt meter on your Molex connectors and your graphics cards while your computer is running 3DMark05 to make sure your voltages are okay from the start.
See this thread: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=145728 Nice system!

I still have the old XaserII case. I like it so much that I have kept it for a few years now. At this point it has housed three different systems. In it's current configuration it weighs in at a healthy 61 pounds!
