Hey all, I'm new here, and I could use a little help with a case. I've picked one out that's in my price range, and I'm wondering if it's worth the cash. The case I'm looking at getting is the ASPIRE X-Navigator. I'm mostly concerned with the cooling, and if I really need to run the 4 fans. I'd also like to know how the noise level is going to be with a Geforce 7800GT running in the case.
Thanks, ~1337n3r|)

it is a very nice case, I just finished building a system for my nehphew, and it runs very cool and quiet. I did not use that same card but used a intell board and a intell cpu- socket -T prescott at 3 gig.
how cool it runs will depend on the hardware you use and the room temp where it will be located. the built in fans are quiet. |

The case itself will be fine and looks like it cools well with that 120mm fan on the back. The chassis is very similar to some Antec cases.
But Aspire power supplies aren't fine and you should get a better power supply to use with that case. Cricket

Check out THIS thread for more info than you'll ever need on PSUs. I've had great success with Antec as well, and they really support their product. There are several other quality options as well.

Thanks, I figured that the case may have been a bit loud, but I'm glad to here that its not.
I've heard from a ton of places that the aspire psu's suck, so I'm leaning toward Antecs TrueControl II 550 or NeoHE 550 so I can go with an Sli setup. |

Cases themselves don't make any noise...it's what you put in 'em that make them noisy. If you don't want to computer to be too noisy, stay away from high speed fans.

Well I suppose if the case was poor construction the side panels might rattle, but that's attributed to noisy/cheap fans.
