I need 2 heatsinks for my MSI-694d, The last ones i bought (Cooler Master CP5-8JD1F) are to big, they hit the ATX power connector, and if possiable something that has a 80mm fan.

Which heatsinks are you using now?
A heatsink with a 80mm fan is probably going to hit the ATX motherboard power connection...you may have to settle for a heatsink with a 60mm fan. Socket 370, right? Cricket

Right now im using one of these http://www.rackmount.com/Rackacc/CPU-P3-B1.htm
I changed the fan on it so it is quieter, and now the fan is making a really loud noise, kind of like a vibration or something. If it is a 60mm fan, could you take a fan adapter and convert it to a 80mm fan? socket 370 is correct, 866 |

you could modify the sink to fit....cut it or file it to clear... yes you could use a 60 to 80mm adapter...but.... you may hear more noise...maybe not

Or you could just get some quieter fans. Ball bearing fans are a lot quieter than the sleeve bearing type.

Check out some of the options Thermalright has to offer. Some of them are already cut in such a way as to clear other components in tighter spaces. They will fit a 80mm nicely.
