abit KN8 memory question
i'm planning to buy the Abit KN8 with and Athon 64 3200+ The board says its memory standard is pc3200 but i have a 512 stick of pc2700. Will it work? I cant afford any other memory right now.

It should work, but the CPU may have to adjust accordingly, and slow down performance (but I'm not familar with that CPU, so it may not), but it should still work.

The CPU will not slow down, the memory will run asynchronous which will reduce overall performance.
