Case help

I was just curious if anyone could give me suggestions for case brands, i am sort of wanting to go somewhat cheap on a case. I was thinking of buying one of those cheap cases that comes with a psu, and scrap the psu for a better quality one. Would it be worth it to do that or not.

Or just a list of decent brands.

this would all be for a ATX style motherboard

Thanks

You can just about use any case you want to as long as you don't use the included power supply (this is only for the real cheap case/power supply deals) and replace it with a good quality one.

I'm not sure just how cheap you want to go, but the real cheap cases tend to be very flimsy and some might even have sharp edges inside that can cut you when you're working in them.

Newegg cases without power supplies page 1 1-20/292. Look for one that has heavier guage metal, avoid the cheaper ones with a lot of windows and cutouts, they are usually real flimsy. Avoid the ones with a lot of plastic, same reason. This Antec is basically the same as the higher priced ones with power supplies.

I prefer to use the Raidmax Astro like on page 1...because they are a heavy case and the fan design works very well they way they have it set up....

I have 4 of these running with the as shipped raidmax psu...(the psu are not rcomended around here) with not so much as a hiccup in 4+ years of running...stock with the 350watt...

I have used the Skyhawk cases (aluminum) and I like them too...they are not as neatly fit as others...but mine was droped during shipping causing most of the misalignment....those I use most...
