Question Best place to buy cases?

Where is the best online place to buy cases? Newegg charges $16 to ship, which doubles the cost of even cheap cases.

Shipping is going to be the same anywhere you go, cases can weigh 20-40 lbs. Look around, sometimes you might be able to grab free shipping on Newegg. Personally, if shipping doubles the cost of a case I would stray away from it. Decent cases are going to run you at least $50 or more.

Here's two that I use for Antec and Enlight cases.

http://shop.upgradesource.com/index.php?cPath=189

http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ..._uid=12&stid=7

UGS doesn't charge freight and Ebuyer's price plus freight ends up being the same. Both end up about $10 - $15 cheaper than Newegg on average for a case.

I just finished a build using this Antec case. It was a good case to work with, is built very well and is a VERY quite case.

I think faulkner132 is looking for good places to buy cases from, not which cases are good.

And sorry about this but I just see this word misspelled too many times here in these forums...it's "quiet" (making little or no noise), not "quite" (to the greatest extent, to a degree).

Good example, ni. That case is $119 w/freight from Newegg and $107 using Free ups ground from Upgrade Source. UGS can be a bit slow in getting orders shipped but they do ok. I don't used them if I'm in a hurry.

No need to be sorry about the spelling thing. Just a slip of the fingers.

Thanks PR,

I'll check out those sites and keep an eye out for sales at brick and mortar places.

You can browse www.pricewatch.com for cases...

I use www.amamax.com (free shipping)
www.directron.com
www.coolerexpress.com
www.str8buy.com

and there are plenty of stores in the sticky up top...

I agree with neweggs shipping cost being too hi....every since they changed to UPS from FedEx the shipping has costed more and the service stinks...

I have complained to them several times about this....I used to get products in 3 day max form the time I hit the buy button....Now it averages 10...?
