I went through this once before and can't seem to figure out why my Supra 2730 ext. will not reinstall correctly.
It wants to install as a standard modem and whenever Win98 is started, it detects a faxmodem pnp and wants to load drivers for that also. I have let Win98 detect, I have selected myself, used "Have Disk" and tried every other combination to get it to install properly, but to no avail. I'm missing something here (brain?) but can't get it figured out. Anybody have an idea for me to try? Carl |

Let it install as anything it wants.
Go into control panel, modems, driver, update driver. Ignore the stupid message about being the wrong driver for your hardware, and install anyhow. |
