New OC. questioning lifespan?

Hey guys, Yesterday i went ahead and installed a new HSF on my CPU a real nice Thermaltake. i noticed my temps dropped about 10 - 12 degrees. so i upped my CPU clock in the bios. and currently im running at 3.61 Ghz on a 3.0 P4 prescott. Everything is running stable according to my hardware monitor program. after OCing my temps are 30C at idle and around 40C at full load. i consider this to be pretty darn good!

anyways. my question is. how badly will OCing cut the lifespan of my CPU down? and will this effect the lifespan of my RAM as well? Thanks

heres my specs:

Gigibyte 865I mobo
P4 3.0 prescott
2 gigs of Giel pc3200 ram
X800 pro 256 vid card
160 gig seagate HD
80 gig maxtor HD

3-120MM fans, 2-80 MM fans
Thanks for any info

As long as voltage and heat are not issues...which they don't appear to be... you'll build a new pc way before that cpu ever goes bad.....

as for the ram as long as you don't over volt it.... it's good...most ram carries a lifetime warranty
