WD400EB Isn't Recognized

I've got this problem where I have moved a WD400EB HD off of an Emachine T2542 that can't be recognized in My Computer. I need to get some pictures off of it because I have to format it because the motherboard broke. I'm running 98SE but the other Emachime was running XP. The drive shows up in bios but in My Computer it doesn't show up. Also in the device manager it shows up as a PCI Mass Storage device. I have it as my secondary primary drive. Any Ideas?

You'll need to find another XP machine to hook it up to. It's probably formated NTSF and WIn98 can't deal with that.

I don't think I have another WIN XP System to hook it up 2. The drive is bootable so would it be possible to boot from that get the folder and move it to the other drive then be able to boot from the other one after or will the NTFS folder make it so that i can't read the other drive?

Edit:Could I use a usb Jumpdrive to move it from hard drive to hard drive? The only problem that I might have is that the other drive has different drivers on it.

turns out that that won't work because its to big of a hardware change. Is there anyway to make it so that I can read that drive on windows 98?

Edit: I found a program that works. http://diskinternals.com/products/ntfs-reader/ I just used it and it works great. Saved me $25
