Help!
Cannot Copy filename: Cannot read from source file or disk.
Where filename is the name of the file I get this error when I try to copy this one certain file from one of my CD-RW's. Any Ideas? I have tried to clean the CD. Thanks Any help will be appreciated as this is my family tree. |

Try a different CD drive (in another computer if you have too). I've come across this before.

Do you know of any free ones that work? I found another program that actually got it off of the CD-RW, I forget what it was called but the file wasn't recovered properly. With Bad Copy Pro It is just autofilling the whole file because of read fail.

If Badcopy is doing that, I doubt anything else, free or pay, will work. You have just found out that a CD-RW is not a perfect medium.
