Hard Disk question
Hello,
I have an IBM DTLA-307015 ATA100 hard disk, there were two small power surges, in a row, when I started the computer noticed a strange noise in the hard disk. I ran NDD and it found 57344 bytes in bad sectors. Can I still continue to use the hard disk even though there are bad sectors? Any help appreciated.

Yes you can, the utility marked them as bad so they won't be used. However, you may want to run Scandisk more often to check if more are being marked bad. IF bad sectors are being found again, the drive has become unreliable and it's time to replace it.
