smokin A-Top XBlade Case and cooling fans.

I need some help from someone out there. I just completed my first build and all went well with the exception of a couple of small glitches.
But my issue now is which way to go with my case fans. The A-Top XBlade case comes with an LCD montior for the fans and what not, but there seems to be an issue with the Asus programing for the MB. I get a fan error if i have the case montior hooked up. The BIOS has a built in Q-fan controler that controls the case fans if I could figure out an easy way to hook them up to the MB. The Fans themselves do not have the connector on them that enable them to be hooked directly to the MB. I like the Looks of the LCD montior, but the BIOS Q-Fan controler seems to be the better way to montior the case fans. Can some one help me out.

Gator

The motherboard probably can only control the one "system" fan that you can hook up to it. It should be a really small 3 pin connector on the motherboard somewhere. The LCD display has nothing to do with the motheboard and is a separate fan controller

Well How many Fans do you have? my case comes with a LCD aswell and i let it control 3 fans and then i let my mobo control the CPU heatsink and the AUX for my Video Card i still have they Sys Fan Open on my Mobo and no problems... when u have your LCD hooked up does it not allow you to start up or just warns you?

I have the system fan connection open as well. I just manually do the adjusting on the front of my case for all my fans.

well it has two case fans, and yes it does run and just gives me a fan fault is all. as it stand now I let the mobo control the cpu fan. So i guess that I will hook the LCD controls back up and play with the BIOS settings and see what I can come up with. Thanks for all the help.

My Gigabyte motherboard has the option to disable the "Fan Fail" warning for either the sys fan or the cpu fan. You must have the option somewhere. I can't imagine a good company like Asus leaving something like that out.
