Power surge protection questions
Hi, I've got a question or two.
What exactly does a Line Stabilizer/Conditioner do? It's a box and its labeled 600watts? Also what does a "surge sentry do?". I ask this because currently I have the power supply computer plugged into: line stabilizer/conditioner: plugged into my surge sentry: which is plugged into the wall socket. So is it okay for my PC to go through so much routing through the stablizer AND the surge sentry, will it hurt my power supply, or would it actually be better and safer for my computer? Please someone help thanks. |

if your using a good quality power line conditioner/ stabilizer, and a surge type of power strip after that, then you should be in good shape, just be sure that the conditioner is connector to the wall outlet first and the power strip second, as I understood your post, you have it the other way around,
what I would recommend is to use a good quality UPS power supply. that would be a much better way to safeguard your system. |
