ERROR: Diskette drive A error

When I turn on my computer I get this error msg:

PhoenixBIOS 4.0 release 6.0
Copyright 1985-2001 Phoenix Technologies
Version 3.15

CPU= intel celeron cpu 2.20GHz
247 system RAM Passed
128K Cache SRAM Passed
System BIOS shadowed
Video BIOS shadowed
Fixed Disk 0: Samsung SV0602H
Mouse initialized
ERROR
02B0: Diskette drive A error

Press F1 to setpup, F2 to resume

And all the screen is black. I press F2 and I bipass the error msg but everytime I restart this error pops up.

I know the problem is with diskette drive A, but how do I fixed it? Any ideas?

Thanks everyone.

Do you have a floppy drive installed in your computer?

If you don't you need to go into BIOS and disable the floppy drive.

If you do, is the LED on all the time? If it is, the floppy cable is connected wrong.

You are going to have to look around and find it. Not all bioses are the same. Press F1 and look till you find it.
