new computer
I'm attempting to build a computer. MB is AW8 and the processor is Pentium 4 630. and one ghz of memory. After installing the hardware, I attempted to boot. Inserted the XP disc, and got to the continue window, and it froze up. Rebooted, and noticed on the screen the message, CPU unworkable or has changed. Can't get passed that point. Any suggestions. Remember I'm still a novis at this. Thanks for any help.

Goto into the BIOS and goto the CPU screen. Check that those stats match those of your processor. If after verifying this, it still doesn't work, it may be a hardware issue.
