Pcl, Ps, raw printing...any printer pros out there?
ok, so this msdos program that runs like a console from Win Xp won´t print certain caracters (that are used in portuguese). I changed to a printer with PCL6 emulation like the store clerk recomended and it works. Got me curious so I started researching and apparently it might not have worked and only raw printing could support these caracters for sure...then, someone told me I could just change the regional options on windows to use a portuguese codepage in console (unfortunately I can no longer test this as printer is not in my possession, but i would still love to know more...). Anybody up to descrambling this confusion in my brain?
