Low Benchmarks On Newly Purchased Seagate Hard Drive?

I just received my new notebook hard drive from Newegg. After installing windows, updates, drivers ...etc...I installed and ran HD Tune 2.52 benchmarking utility. The numbers seem to be lower than I expected (see pic).

If someone else has this drive, it would be great if you could run this benchmard for comparison purposes. I need to know if I should RMA this thing.

Seagate Momentus 5400.2 100 GB 2.5" Notebook HD (ST9100824A)

Thanks

What kind of scores were you expecting? That looks pretty good to me for a laptop drive.

Here's a similar drive - yours looks fine compared to it.

Just goes to prove that an ATA100 speed rating is just a theoretical dream.
