WinXP will not recognize USB hub
I removed a KVM from my desktop and did a little cable management. In the process I moved my Belkin USB hub (F5U237) to a different port on my PC. I now get a prompt to load drivers. It’s a hub and has no drivers. The OS “should” know what it is and what to do, but I just have “USB Device” and a ?/! under other devices.
I’ve rebooted several times and “uninstalled” the device via the device manager, but it is still not recognized. Any ideas? Thanks Scott |

See what happens when it's connected to a different USB port.
Also, see if another USB device works in the questionable port. |

Disconnect the hub, reboot. Disconnect all devices from the hub, plug it in. If it's seen now, plug devices back in one at a time.
