WinXP will not recognize USB hub

I removed a KVM from my desktop and did a little cable management. In the process I moved my Belkin USB hub (F5U237) to a different port on my PC. I now get a prompt to load drivers. It’s a hub and has no drivers. The OS “should” know what it is and what to do, but I just have “USB Device” and a ?/! under other devices.

I’ve rebooted several times and “uninstalled” the device via the device manager, but it is still not recognized.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Scott

See what happens when it's connected to a different USB port.
Also, see if another USB device works in the questionable port.

Disconnect the hub, reboot. Disconnect all devices from the hub, plug it in. If it's seen now, plug devices back in one at a time.
