Parallel port CDROM drivers

Hi folks

I have an external CDROM with parallel post connections I am trying to install in XP Pro.

If anyone know where I could find drivers would be appreciated.

They are out of business.

It's a Micro Solutions box Model 167550

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Dave

Still not working. Installed the drivers as recommended a few times.

Installed drivers with CDROM disconnected. Then installed the cdrom and booted.

Device Manager as well all CP has the BackPack Finder but no drive letters or any evidence of cdrom on the system.

Went through their help files.

Any other help appreciated.

Try the DOS drivers on a bootdisk to see if your port and drive are okay.

Prior to reading your post I downloaded and installed an older setup I found for the cdrom, Though it was not written for XP I installed it anyway because apparently there is nothing else out there. I was hoping to at least get the drivers installed and then use the updated file to install/update over it but it still did not work.

I checked their troubleshooter doc but their suggestions still did not work.

I will try your suggestion no doubt but if it doesn't fix the problem, I am only about 2.5 feet away from my window.

But thanks so much again for the help.

Really appreciated.
