Question Joystick Problems

I have a Madcatz Panther DX joystick and the throttle control won't work on Microsoft Flight Sim 2000 or Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator. I haven't used the joystick since I upgraded from Win 95 to Win 98 but the throttle control used to work on Win 95. All other functions of the controller work fine. Installed new drivers from Madcatz and no change. The confusing part is that I calibrate it using control panel everything including the throttle works fine. No yellow ! anywhere in system resources. Installed it on another system running Win 98 and same problem. Shows good in control panel but will not control throttle in simulator. Keyboard throttle controls work fine. Any ideas?

Unhappy Case Closed

Forget about this thread. I just reinstalled the same as I did five previous times and everything works fine now. Don't know what I did different.
