Screen Chaos
Right I am having a problem with my screen and I am unable to solve it. The problem is half my screen flickers and the other half is fine. It is like there is a slower refresh on one half of the screen while on the other is fine. I can see the screen properly but it is annoying and disorientating to say the least.
So far I have tried the following; checking the cable in the back of the screen that connects to the videocard, that was fine. Changing refresh rate and screen resolution, that didn't help and updating my bios and graphic card drivers, still no effect. Any ideas? |

See if the same problem happens with the monitor connected to a different system. If so, then the monitor is bad.
If it works ok on another system, then reseat your video card making sure it's fully seated. If no luck, then try a different video card. |

Slap the side of the monitor a few times and see if it helps. Dont hit it too hard.
Also try the Degauss button or option. This is probably a bad monitor. If you get it to clear up dont shut it off. |
