Is this a store-bought computer or one that you put together yourself? If it is store-bought, a brand and model would be helpful.

Are all the fans working on the CPU, video card, etc.? Try playing those games with the side of the case off to see if it still happens, as it may be a heat issue.

Do you know the brand of the PSU that you have?

You need to install the Intel chipset drivers from the motherboard CD. My clue that you didn't is it's showing a standard IDE controller, not an Intel Ultra ATA controller. Because of this, the AGP system may not be running properly.

Did that but it is still doing it, could it be a video situation or heat? I mean it just started doing this two days ago.... Only when I play games...

Also, my computer's CPu temp is usually around 60C and the motherboard temp is around 25C when playing games... Could it be too hot and its locking up? What should I do?

I get the same thing sporadically when using my pc to play games like battlefield 2 and Joint Operations. I have an ASUS board and creative soundblaster audigy platinum, the original one. I have heard it may be an issue with creative soundcards and Nforce chipset but you dont have one so it may some other component of the asus mobo and creative sound card. Do you have the most recent drivers from creative?

If you have a Northwood CPU showing 60C for its temperature, you don't have the heatsink installed properly or it's clogged with dust.

I'll have to get rid of the dust there is ALOT clogging inside the cpu fan could that be doing it? I just had it happen and when i rebooted it said Microsoft crash and it said it suspects a device failure....

Yes that is likely the cause, get a can of air and blow that dust out of there. Jam the fans with something nonconductive so they don't spin while you are blowing it out.

Clean ALL the dust out of EVERYTHING - review your case cooling methods.

Leaving the side of your case off is not a good long term solution since it will get dusty.

I would make sure you have proper airflow, with intake fans at the front, exhaust in the rear and clean cabling. If all else fails, there is always a slot cooler.
