Fan speed too fast/slow?

I built my comp like 4 years ago, and pretty much didnt have any idea what I was doing heh. Ive had some problems as startup ocassionally, I can't remember exactly when it started I usually just press F1 to continue. I get this message

"Hardware monitor found an error DEL for options"

When I went to the hardware section of the BIOS I noticed that the fan speed was red it was at around 1480 and temps are around MB: 26d C CPU: 33d C
Sorry, it may seem like common knowledge around here. If anyone has some links to articles where I can learn more about this stuff I would definately appreciate it, thanks guys.

idk, that seems a little fishy to me. take off the side and touch the processor if u can. see if its hot. maybe also get a windows temp program.
either your temps are out or your fan readings are out.
my cpu fan is running at 4700rpm. if i was anywhere NEAR 1400rpm, this thing could cook an egg... lol. and im sure yours is the same. heck my case fan is running at 2800rpm.

(These readings are as stated from SpeedFan)

Looks all fine to me, 1480 is ok for a 4 year old HSF (although it might need a dust to get it up to speed). And the temps are fine.
