Rosewill Case

I recently bought a Rosewill case and transferred everything from my old case to this one. When I was looking in the box I found a little component that I'm not sure what it goes to. It connects to the motherboard because it has four tiny slots, then it has two wires connecting to a cylinder looking thing. I'm not sure what this is, anyone know?

The closest thing I can think of is a fan with a built-in fan controller, the cylendery thing being the controller knob for a PCI port or something. The four tiny slots is probably a molex connector, so it connects directly to your PSU rather than the mobo.

Is the peice in the upper left of this image what you are referring to? http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowIm...y%20-%20Retail

I'm not sure what it is, but that should help everyone know what you mean.

Can you post a pic?

(Went to the head and Alaron got one in. The one in his link looks like a speaker)

The thing Alaron pointed out is the case speaker (look in your case's manual and it says what it is - I downloaded it from their website). If your motherboard doesn't have a speaker built in, you'll have a 4 pin header on the board. Refer the mobo manual for that location.

Yeah it's the piece in the upper left corner of this picture:

Rosewill Case Accessories

I thought it was a speaker but I wasn't sure. Now I have confirmation, thanks. Where would I go about getting a manual for my motherboard though? It's the original motherboard from my computer when I bought it (everything else except the sound card, modem, and 1 stick of 512mb ram was all bought over time). My motherboard is an Intel D845PEBT2. And for those wondering, this is the case I bought:

Tons of upsides to it for my position but the only downside is that it came with no documentation whatsovever so I wasn't sure on the speaker.
