epson printer. wrong error message
My Epson c40 plus printer has come to a grinding halt with the error message "paper jam" There is no paper in the printer but the colour ink is very low.How can I tell the printer that it is a "low ink" error ?

There is no way to tell a printer to change its error message. If it's telling you that you have a paper jam, you have a paper jam or some other problem in the paper feed path. Either that, or the logic board just died.

I had an Epson printer that reported a constant 'paper jam'. The service tech I took it to said that it was, in effect, dead - and replaced it under warrenty.
