TRUST 240TH direct webscan gold
When I scan images from magazines the image is in dots. It is not nice and crisp. How to fix this. I tried to change the resolution but nothing much improved.

How big are the dots? If you look closely to the magazine, you'll notice that the images are composed of dots.

Probably caused by a reflection off the glossy magazine paper.

dots
It is probably the reflection. But how can I fix it? It is actually squares and it looks like a chess board. The text is fine but photos of people, landscape... have those dots.

See if your scanner driver has a descreen option.

thanks
I found the descreen option. It has the option for scaning magazines and newspapers. Now my images look great. Not a single dot. Thanks a lot
