logitech keyboard and mouse
I was wondering if there is any reason not to get the logitech keyboard and mouse to go with my Sony VGC RA840G desktop 'puter? Or, is there a better wireless keyboard available? Thanks.

Depends entirely on the specific model you're wanting to get. Logitech are a quality manufacturer, though.
