Unhappy PS/2 keyboard not working

I've been using my computer fine for the past few months, running keyboard through a Belkin KVM. Now I've moved my computer, I'm plugging the same keyboard directly into it (which was my previous setup) and it is not working in Windows. I can get into the BIOS, but as soon as the login screen appears, the lock lights fail to respond.

I've plugged a USB keyboard in, deleted both drivers, then rebooted with them both attached, at which point the PS/2 keyboard works fine, and I can remove the USB keyboard.

Then it stops working again when I reboot.

Hope that makes sense! Any suggestions much appreciated.

I've installed the Microsoft Intellitype software, and it had no effect.

Solved it... by plugging my mouse into its PS/2 port using an adapter the other way. Confused, but glad it's working!
