SATA question

Are there any issues with using a SATA II HDD on an Asus A8N5X that only has SATA I. I've read that it is compatible, BUT?

Thanks

But, you just won't be able to utilise all the capabilities that SATA 2 provides. You can use that drive on your motherboard just fine. Just without the additional features that SATA 2 gives as the BIOS on that motherboard can only facilitate SATA 1.
