Is my mobo bad?

I finished putting a computer together, installed win xp, installed the drivers, restarted the computer and now it will not boot up. The computer is getting power, lights on, fans spinning, but no beep or monitor signal. Funny it worked before when I installed xp and drivers but after powering down and up it will not work. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? Also after I installed drivers and turned it off, I installed a chassis fan. I put 3 pin in the mobo and 4 pin into power supply....is this right or I only need one cable? Also I'm running SLI mobo and I have 24 pin cable from power supply to mobo, 4 pin atx cable to mobo, and there is another 4 pin called EZ plug on mobo for video cards but I have power cable from video cards directly to power supply so I don't need to connect cable from powersupply to ezplug on mobo right? Please help!!!!!
