Question about my Rear Fan
My rear fan occasionally makes a loud humming sound similar to what one of those hand held battery fans just not as high pitched. What would casue this to happen? This is the orignal fan that came with the case. I figured I would ask here to see how serious this may be.

its possible that there is some dirt on the blades.
or the bearings could be going bad, replacement may be in the future. |

If you've had this computer for awhile and the fan uses sleeve bearings the bearings could be worn out already. If your current fan uses sleeve bearings you might consider replacing it with a ball bearing fan.
