Off the top of my head, I'm assuming it might be a program such as SpeedFan, or the BIOS Temperature Reader...

What are your system specs, such as motherboard make and model? Not all motherboards have temperature sensors, and usually a motherboard will come with the proper software to monitor the temperatures if it is capable of doing that.

MSI MB,p4 3.2 processor with 512 ram, I can read temp from bios, but no software comes with MB like Intel does.
