USB keyboard lag

Just recently I finally upgraded to the hot new G15 keyboard. Since this keyboard is USB only, I also had to move from using PS/2 for my keyboard. But now I've discovered a problem with USB keyboards on my system - if I hit capslock, numlock, or scroll lock while moving my mouse, the pointer lags. This is a fairly significant problem for me. My system is used mainly for gaming, and I always bind the capslock key to "jump" in any game that has a jump function. Having your view jerk around every time you jump is a fairly significant problem.

Some of my system specs:
Windows 2K
Epox 8RDA3I motherboard
AMD sempron 2400+ CPU
2x 512MB Kingston Value Ram (PC3200 I believe)

What I have established so far is that my secondary system with lower specs does not have this problem. This secondary system also runs windows XP instead of windows 2K.

What other USB devices are connected? Do you have 2K SP4 installed, and are the USB 2.0 drivers installed and operating properly? Any flagged USB devices in device manager?

The only other USB device is a printer that's not turned on. Yes, I have SP 4 installed, and all the latest official updates. All USB drivers are working properly, nothing is flagged in device manager.

Try re-installing your keyboard and mouse drivers? (Keyboard first)

Personally, I've never heard of this problem...
