Any light weight oil will be fine. I use Tri-Flow.

Marvel Mystery Oil has provided me with many years of doing a good job.

APCR2, your brand of humor is inappropriate and does not provide an answer to the poster's question.

when my case fan ground itself to a halt, i dropped a bit of baby oil (that's all i had other than olive oil).
i got a new fan from antec but i still haven't installed it because the old one is running like new.

Cricket,

Where did you buy Tri-Flow? My Dad used that in his typewriter repair business instead of Wd-40. He had to buy it through a vendor because it wasn't available in stores. I have not seen it in years. It's fantastic stuff.

I had an Asus Geforce 3 that had a fan that failed after only two months. I got it going for another two years by adding olive oil

I use Snap-On air tool oil which is very comparable to the Marvel Mystery Oil that TwoRails mentioned.

I don't know what oil I use but it came in a vial with a needle like attachment for use on fishing reels.

... instead of Wd-40...
Just a general reminder: WD 40 is Not a lubricant, and should not be used as such...
