does any one that owns a netgear FA311 ever experience hangs when surfing the web? i play multiplayer games and the card does not seem to effect the gaming, but when surfin the web it hangs for about 20 seconds then it works fine, and the process starts all over again.
my system specs amd athlon 1g speedstream dsl modem 256 pc133 radeon 64 ddr video soundblaster live x gamer someone please help! thnx in advance dizzy |

Not a NetGear problem, I use NetGear NIC's all the time. I've had that problem long ago, can't seem to remember what caused it, but I'll try.

I'd put my money on your PPPoE software, if you're on PPPoE and using Winpoet or Enternet300.

thnx for the reply guys. much appreciated. xyad i will try rasppoe when i get home tonight. its refreshing to know that there are still forums and people out there that are willing to share there knowledge and experience with the "novice" (clueless) tweakers. thanks again.
