have problem to get AGP video card work with PCI video card

hi, my setup:
Asus k8n, amd sempron 2800, 1G Ram, sata 250HD, 80G IDE, nec dvd,

I have two video card, one PCI sapphire Radeon7000, one Nvidia TNT2 AGPX4, they work individually, but not together.
in Asus manual, it predefine AGP IRQ15 which share with secondary IDE channel, when put cards one by one and check IRQ, they use the same IRQ11, but when put them together, PCI video card still use IRQ11, but AGP card use predefined IRQ15, winxp show "can't start ,error 10", if I uninstall AGP in device manager, and search hardware changing again, it works, this time, AGP card use IRQ 5.

tried every way in BIOS to set AGP slot different IRQ, but not working, anyone has idea how to fix it?

thanks

Not all cards will play nice with other cards. This is why more and more cards are now dual head - running multiple cards is a headache. All you can do is try DIFFERENT cards till you find a combination that will work.

The last time I tried to get a PCI card working with a Nvidia AGP card, the only card I had that would start was a Matrox. ATI, another Nvidia, and a S3 all refused to run.

Why can't you just get a dual head AGP card? That's gonna be a lot cheaper than buying just about any legacy PCI card these days.

That's a better card than any TNT2.

that is something I'll do next step, the TNT2 is from my old machine.
since I already have a ATI radeon7000 PCI, do you think Geforce Fx5500 will work with it?
