e) What is the maximum amount of memory that can be supported?

f) If you buy this board, will you also have to buy a video card?

Thank you.

The top part of your post answers most of your questions (I've never heard of a BSB)

The processor (also called a CPU) speed is 3.06 GHz. The speed is measure in Hertz, or "clock cycles", where one clock cycle is equal to one hertz. A megahertz is 1024 (roughly 1000) hertz. A gigahertz is 1024 (roughly 1000) megahertz.

Three memory modules can be installed, supporting a maximum of 12 GB of DDR (and not DDR2) SDRAM (You would probably not get any performance boost past 2GB of Memory.)

If you buy this motherboard/CPU package, you will also have to buy a video card. The motherboard you have selected does not have onboard video.

Personally, I would pick another brand, such as Asus, since Asus has a reputation of being higher quality. I have never heard of Jetway. It also uses a VIA chipset, which is mostly geared towards office work (and nothing intensive).

What do you plan on using this computer for?

Secondly, if you are planning to build this computer, I would also pick another motherboard because this one supports a "Socket 478", which is an older generation processor configuration.

Today's computer builds either use Socket LGA775 (for Intel Processors) or Socket 939/940 (for AMD Processors).

The FSB speed is 133MHz, quad-pumped (QDR), so effectively 533MHz.

I believe the BSB connects the core of the CPU to the L2 cache - I think it is the same speed as the CPU...not sure there though.

For what the price of that combo probably is, you can do a lot better. Socket 478 is old technology, the 3.06 GHz processor in there is overpriced, and that's a low end (and obsolete) motherboard. You can probably get a 800 FSB socket 775 processor and a quality brand Intel chipset motherboard for the same price.
