buying new ram
i got this info off the crucial site,

The only way to buy ram that is guaranteed to work is from a memory maker that uses a configurator - like the one you used at Crucial. Kingston and others have them too. Otherwise, it's a gamble. Sometimes additional memory is incompatible with the existing memory and sometimes it's incompatible with the mobo. And sometimes it works!!
