new hdd in external enclosure not working?
hi, i just got a brand new maxtor hard drive and threw it into an external enclosure from some site called insidecomputer.com. Anyways, I hook it all up and I can see the drive in the device manager but not in my computer? any help would b greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you formatted it and tried to assign a drive letter in "Disk Management"?
