Please be specific and list the major components installed in your system.

You said that you have 5 HDDs with the OS preinstalled already? Well, did you try to build a new computer and use one of the HDDs with the preinstalled OS? If so, you may have to run the Windows REPAIR option. Just pop in the the OS cd, boot from it, and run the repair.

When installing a new motherboard, you may have some problems. Here is a great step by step tutorial on how to run the repair: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=151522

Hex, if you want us to help you, we need information.

Please give a full list of all your parts including brand and wattage of the power supply.

Minsongo is right, you cannot simply move a hard drive from one computer into a new one an expect it to work. Windows needs to be repaired so it can properly recognize the new hardware and run correctly.

Please run the Windows REPAIR option. Just pop in the the OS cd, boot from it, and run the repair.

If that does not work, let us know and we can look into possible causes of your problem.

A link has already been posted for how to the repair. http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=151522

A complete reformat and reinstall will work as well. You will lose any data on the hard drive.
