i'm having problems with a sonicwave 4d sound card. i started having problems with the sound card when i installed some video player software(i don't recall the name of the software). i deleted the drivers for the card and tried to reinstall them. the software that comes with the card makes you actually run the program on the cd to install the drivers rather then loading the raw drivers.i tried removing the card and reinstalling it(it did not work). i don't know where to go from here. the drivers on the site are the same that came with the card.
any suggestions. |

*Uninstall* the sound card software using Add/Remove Programs - then reinstall. You can't just delete drivers.

IF YOU ARE ABSOLUTLY SURE THAT YOU HAVE REMOVED THE DRIVERS!
Remove the Soundcard from the MOBO. Start the Computer and Install the Sound Drivers from the CD and Shut Down Install the Soundcard and restart the Computer. |
